I had the plea­sure of being invit­ed by the Bran­den­burg Sports Asso­ci­a­tion to give a work­shop on “The pow­er of lan­guage”. The top­ics cov­ered put a spe­cial focus on lan­guage issues that are rel­e­vant for vol­un­teers in sports clubs, such as anti-dis­crim­i­na­to­ry lan­guage use and one-to-one/one-to-many com­mu­ni­ca­tion.

The work­shop took place on Sep­tem­ber 7, 2024 in Lin­dow and was part of a train­ing pro­gramme called “Frauen bewe­gen Vere­ine”. Here is a report about the event in the Bran­den­bur­gis­ches Sportjour­nal (08/2024, see page 16).
